Overview of Vivo Y35

Design, Display

The Vivo Y35 is a slim and light-weight phone that measures 8.28mm thick and weighs 188 grams. The back of the device has a gradient end with 2.5D curvature, and it is available in Dawn Gold and Agate Black. Vivo also claims that the smartphone is scratch and fingerprint-resistant.

The display on the Vivo Y35 measures 6.58 inches diagonally. It’s an IPS LCD panel with support for up to 90Hz refresh rate.

The right side of the device has a power button, which doubles as a fingerprint sensor, and volume buttons, while the bottom side houses a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, and speaker.

Performance

Vivo Y35 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. It is built on a 6nm process technology and has 4 Kyro 265 Gold (2.4GHz), 4 Kryo 265 Silver (1.9GHz) CPU cores, and Adreno 610 GPU.

The phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, it has 5000mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging. The Vivo Y35 ships with Funtouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12.

In terms of optics, the device has a triple camera setup on the back led by a 50MP primary lens. Accompanying it are two 2MP macro and depth sensors. The water-drop notch on the front houses an 16MP selfie camera. Both the rear and selfie cameras can only record 1080p@30fps video.
