Realme 10 Overview

Realme is improving Realme 10 with the Helio G99. This new mid-range chip is based on TSMC’s 6nm and brings newer and faster CPU cores. With the new chip, this phone has has already scored 400,086 points in Realme’s internal testing.

The chip is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of storage. Users will be able to access an additional 8GB of virtual memory. As per the company, this phone can run 18 apps simultaneously because of the hardware and software optimization.

Design and Display

Realme 10 has flat frames with a retaining edge kind of design. On the display side, it has a super AMOLED display of 6.4 inches with a PPI density of 411. The screen has an aspect ratio of 20:9 with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Similarly, it boasts a peak brightness of 1000 nits, 98% NTSC coverage, and 16.7 Million colors.

The frames are now flat, with only the edges retaining curves. Realme has also gotten rid of the plastic camera bump at the back.

This phone is pretty thin at 7.95mm thickness and it only weighs 178g. On the front, it has a hole punch in the top left corner. Likewise, the fingerprint sensor is embedded into the power button.

Performance

Realme 10 gets powered by the Helio G99 Soc chipset. The new chipset is 25% faster in CPU performance and uses 20% less power than its predecessor. It uses an Octa-core CPU that comes with a clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz and gets Mali-G57 MC2 of GPU.
